We believe that each child has unique academic and social-emotional needs. We saw the realities of these needs translate from our classrooms to our own homes during the pandemic. Quickly, it has prompted us to widen our reach beyond our physical space.
Connection is one of our core values, and without it, trust cannot be formed. We seek to connect with our clients and the children we serve through authentic conversations, reflective meetings, and playful interactions with children. From that connection, we seek to build Actionable Goals to have structure and instruction. Followed by a Collaborative Evaluation, it is an effort to measure the growth of both the parent and child or the school leadership and teachers. All with the intent to be the team of support who will bring you, your family or your school to where you want to be.
Who we are
As certified Montessori teachers, we value Maria Montessori’s traditional method. The value and the balance of the triad: Prepared Environment, Prepared Adult and the Child is unchanged and practiced. Understanding that her method is more than a century old, we keep our practice updated on studies founded by newest brain research, and the science behind play, attachment and the effects of trauma. The more we learn about the brain, it validates that Montessori’s method was on track for her time, and there are parallels to the new research findings.
